Is there any impact on the features if we remove parent of and child of link types

I want to remove the parent of and child of link types in my jira site,

 if I remove the parent of and child of link types, will that effect any other feature like epic, roadmap, plans ..etc

Hi @Sunilkumar k 

Advanced Roadmaps use Parent Link and Epic Link but it is still good to have Parent-Child issue links in Jira. You can delete and Jira will prompt you to either change the link type of other issue using Parent-Child or delete the link.

• Also check your Advanced Roadmaps configuration, it might be using Parent-Child link type as a dependency, possibly any other app as well.
• User filters using this link type will break.
