We need the feature of viewing and changing the 'Resolution' field in JIRA Issue screen. Now in the issue view screen, this field is not available. Is there any way or workaround to view this field and use it as like in JIRA old view screen?
There are two options here - both of which are workarounds.
1. You could use Automation for Jira and create a manual rule to allow you to change the resolution when you notice it (this would be a manual task each time though).
2. Allow transitions from 'closed' back to an open state, and then re-resolve the ticket. If you do this, make sure that the resolution field is on your Resolve Screen. That way you can set the resolution then.
It is worth noting that there is an open suggestion for this from Atlassian, and they have confirmed that it will be visible before the New View is rolled out to all in March 2021:
