Is there any steps to extract the comments field in jira?

Dharani May 2, 2022

I can able to extract all the fields by selecting columns. But I am not getting all the comments in that extracted file.

And also please suggest how to get a monthly report or a two-month report?
Are there any formulas available?

Hi @Dharani welcome to the Atlassian community.

Few suggestions:

1. When it's not your own query, don't disclose the names of the requestors or project stakeholder names with screenshots.

2. Secondly your query and the referenced screenshot conversation doesn't match? So, you might exactly provide what are you trying to accomplish or the query.

Thank you @Dharani  for the reply.

Regarding your queries:

Approach 1>> Please utilize Jira's reporting menu. On the left panel >> click reports>> Under Issue analysis section you will find "Configure - Time Since Issues Report". Screenshot attached for your reference.

Approach 2>> Go to Issues sections and export Excel CSV (all fields). In the downloaded excel sheet, use the sorting on the "date created" OR "date updated" OR "comments" etc per your requirement.
