Is there any way in JIRA where a group can be added to a particular project depending upon the project category. For example if i create a project with category "xyz" then automatically "ABC" should be added to that project .

When you say group, do you mean a user group or a custom field with a value set depending on the project category?

@Nisha Hajamohideen Thanks for responding!!! I mean user group and not the custom fields. Can i associate a user group to a project depending upon the proj's category?
