Is there any way to get Jira (6.1) documentation in HTML without installing my own Confluence?

aizzo December 5, 2014

I'm installing into an isolated network, so I need local documentation.  I'm not installing Confluence, and I'd rather not limit to PDF for documentation.  I see that Confluence supposedly has the capability to export an entire Space into static HTML pages.  I frankly expected the documentation to be offered for download in that format in the first place, but I can't seem to find it.

Sorry, there is not. Atlassian offer a PDF version and a XML version which can be imported in a Confluence instance.

In this page, in the section Latest Versions of Downloadable Documentation.

If you want a html version of the documentation page, I believe the best option is use a tool like wget to get everything in this directory https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA061
