Is there any way to group issues in a specific column?

My team uses completed issues for reference consistently, even months after the project is done, so we keep these completed issues in a "Done" column in our KanBan board view.

It would be really great if we could organize these issues into groups only in this specific column.  So having one group that includes all of our flash sale issues, and one group that includes all migration issues, etc.,

Does anyone know if that's possible? Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hi @Catalina Gonzalez ,

You can create swim lanes in the board setting based on a JQL query; if you use labels or components to identify the group or category for the ticket, or by Epic if that is how you separate the groups. Keep in mind however that swim lanes will apply to the whole board, there isn't a way to group just the "Done" column.

You can work around that by creating a duplicate board for referencing only and have that grouped in swim lanes while the main board is used for working on the project.  The side benefit to this is that you can easily see how many issues there are for each group using swim lanes which may help when prioritizing or assigning work.

Hope this helps,

Scott
