We have recently moved from specification documents (confluence) to user stories (in JIRA). Confluence has a feature to add inline comments but JIRA have overall ticket comments. It is really getting difficult to maintain comments because there is no 'reply' option in JIRA.
So is there a way to have ask a question option or inline comments in JIRA?
Hi @divyanayital ,
Your user story issue might have a few part of questions for discussion, I right? Maybe use some sub-task issue type for that. E.g. sub-task 'clarification' and make all conversation about one question in that sub-task.

yes @Andrew
Thanks - Good suggestion. This can work. But then we have to maintain and track multiple tickets because there are numerous questions raised when you put up some new requirement in front of a team. I am not sure - but isn't it going to be more time consuming?

For me user story it very small unit and all question should be short. Below nice post https://www.atlassian.com/agile/project-management/epics-stories-themes
