Is there any way to restore history of a deleted tab?

We were using the tabs feature on our issues and then decided against it. An admin removed the tab before we could capture the history. Is there any way to restore that information?

By "capture the history" you mean the values of the customfields that were listed in that tab of a particular screen ?

If the answer is yes,  the values are still there as long as the customfields themselves are not deleted and you can get them either by displaying them as columns in the issue navigator/exporting the issues/adding the customfields to another screen, etc

Yes! We had only deleted the tab itself but not the fields. Thanks for the quick response!
