Currently we are using JIRA cloud version and i am raising the issues on JIRA and in "Issue close notification" section mention the name of someone who should get notified after resolution of issue. But the emails are not received by them. How can i implement that??
Issue close notification
Hello @Mayur D. Vichare
You can add a custom event in your Jira instance. Then when you close the issue, make sure the workflow post-function fires that custom event which you have added and then in the notifications scheme for that custom event you can add the email of the external user.

Hello @Mayur D. Vichare
You can also choose a group in the notification scheme, thus you can create a group of external users and add that group in the notification scheme for the particular close event.

@Tarun SapraI am new to JIRA currently. The amount of knowledge i have says that external users group cannot be made on JIRA. Every user should have a login of jira.
What is the solution for external users (NON-JIRA) he/she might be anybody.

Hello @Mayur D. Vichare
Indeed, If you create a group of external emails , then they would count towards the Jira license. One way I have done it is to send the email to only one email address (external) via the notification scheme, but in the Active directory setting make sure that the single mail is basically a Directory listing and forwards the mail to all the users which are mapped against that single email.

Thus you can enter the single mail address (which is external) but this email address would be the DL and forwards the mail to all externals.
