For latest JIRA Cloud version (as of 2016), Is there sample JIRA Agile Project data available?
I want to setup a "demo" project to try out Agile features. However creating dummy data from scratch (epic, user stories, tasks) would be extremely time consuming. Is there a sample data file (CSV) available? Then I could just upload the CSV into my JIRA Cloud instance and manage a "demo" JIRA Agile project (Scrum).
Hi Rodrigo,
I didn't actually mean "cloning" a project.
I meant is there data out there that I can use to create a "sample" Agile project?
For example, MS Access comes with a Northwind database. I can run SQL queries on the data to practice my SQL skills.
When I do JIRA demos internally, I need to create my own sample data (in a CSV), then upload into a project in JIRA.
I think in the "old" JIRA Agile, there was easy way to create sample data. In the latest cloud version of JIRA Software, it does not seem to be the case.
Thanks,
Aaron
Hi Aaron,
I'm afraid that cloning projects is not available to Cloud Platform, as you can see below:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-7020
Though, you might want to check the workaround below, base don third party add-ons functionality:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=317948559
I hope that helps somehow.
Cheers, Rodrigo Silva
