I was almost certain in past companies when I've created an issue collector, the reporter receives a hyperlink to the ticket that is created as part of the success message.
This way they can track the status and progress of the issue they logged.
However, the issue collector I've now configured only provides a simple success message, and doesn't allow the submitter to view the issue they have created.
Am I doing something wrong?
Hello @Lewy, Leah,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Testing on my local site, I was able to replicate the same issue and it happens due to the project permissions.
Due to a bug that was fixed, now if the Browse Projects permission is not set to Public, the link to the ticket won’t show on the confirmation message.
If you go to Project settings > Permissions > Actions > Edit permissions and add Public to Browse Projects, it will show the Issue Key once a ticket is created via Issue collector:
There is a feature request suggesting to add this option back:
Please, click on Vote for this issue and also watch it to receive updates from our product managers.
Kind regards,
Angélica
