Issue JQL for WorkRatio based on who did the work, not assignee?

Scott Hiser May 6, 2020

Hello,

I need issue data on developers who are exceeding the estimated time. But the issues go through multiple transitions that change the assignee, so using the assignee will not work as an accurate measure.

Is there an issue query or report that will show me who logged work against an issue in conjunction with the work ratio?

Basically, a work ratio report where instead of issue assignee, it would be the user who worked on the issue when it was "In Progress".

Thanks!

I was able to get a somewhat usable report using worklogAuthor.

Hey @Scott Hiser, what was your solution? Were you able to add worklogAuthor as a column in your report?

@Mike Alexander I could not obtain a report across the board, but I can run a report per employee based on worklog. It's not ideal but it works. Another option has been to increase administrative overhead by breaking tasks up into components assigned to each employee so each issue is only worked on by 1 employee. This is a little counter productive for me, I don't like when we have to shape our business around the tools we use.
