Issue Reassign Issues

Hi

i have the trial version of JIRA on demand and I'm not very technical and slowly coming up to speed on how to use it, so please do bear with me!

I have assigned access right to a couple of other users and we are currently trialling the system. With 2 of the users I've set-up. We can and assign and reassign issues easily. However, with the third user set-up, she is able assign issues to me (administrator), I have added a comment but unable to reassign back to her?

The system does not recognise her name in the asignee drop down even though she originally assigned the issue to me?

Hi Palka,

Check for two things

1. Make sure she has "Assignable User" permission in your project permission scheme

2. Make sure she has "Assign Issue" permission in your project permission scheme

And sometimes, users have sent me a request with the same issue saying they are not able to see users in the dropdown. You need to start typing their name and auto-suggest will display users for you :)
