I have a filter that collects issues from 3 distinct Projects. I am using the filter to populate a board in a third project. The filter is pretty simple: 3 projects selected, 3 issue types, and all status values.
Whenever a specific user resolves an issue, it disappears from the board that consolidates the issues. Other users can do the same with no impact to the board. The user in question has the same user settings as the others.
Any ideas?
Hello James,
As far as I know, there are no user settings that could be causing this behavior on JIRA.
I think that maybe there are some specification (Fields, Status, etc) on the issue that this specific user is changing differently from other users, causing the issue to "Escape" of the board filter.
That being said, I would recommend you to perform the following tests:
- Create an issue on your board and ask any other user (That is not removing the issue from the board) to close it and give you all the steps he performed to do it.
- Reopen the same issue and ask the user who is reproducing the problem to perform the same steps to close the issue, providing every single step and field changes performed.
Performing the steps above, you'll have a better idea of what's causing the issue to be removed from the board.
Also, compare the histories for a disappearing issue and one that remains.

Thanks. I don't know that we have a verified solution because he is now able to resolve issues without incident, but we have made any changes (process or settings).
