Issue Workflows for Next-gen projects

I tried out the new next-gen project, but I failed to find link the workflow schema I created to this new project. Read online that next-gen projects don't have this yet.  This is the most basic functional part of my classic boards!?! When will it be available??

Hello,

Next-gen projects have been created for making project administration easier. Because a Jira admin has to have a lot of knowledge to administer a classic project. That is why some features are not available for next-gen projects to make administration easier. You can add columns to boards and it is about the same as adding statuses to workflows.

If it is not enough, you can always use classic projects.
