Issue created date and resolved date mapping while importing issues through csv

I have created a excel sheet to import the issues in jira where I have issue created and resolved date in dd-mmm-yy h:mm a format .

At the time of importing I am mapping this fields to date created and date resolved fields. But, after the import issue created date and resolved date are not showing as per the csv file instead its showing the time when the issues are imported. And after import completed its showing the error as: unable to parse date format.

Can anyone know what created and resolved date format  we need to use in csv file so that I will get the issue created and issue resolved dates as per the csv file.

Hi @Ravina

Those fields have specific meanings in Jira: created is when the issue was added to a Jira instance and resolved is when the issue has been marked with some resolution value.  So importing either field would seem to change their purpose/meaning.

What problem are you trying to solve by doing this?

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy

I am importing issues from one instance to another instance .and I want created and resloved  date are as per the old instance. so that when we search for with resfective created date and resolved date by using JQL. it should show the correct result .
