I am getting " Issue does not exist in JIRA" however the ticket is created and not deleted. Also

being a system admin i checked under outgoing mail log and even notification is also sent to the assignee for ticket creation. Not sure where this ticket is gone.

Thanks for the reply.

However i logged into the server where our JIRA instance is hosted and under the access log file I found that this issue was deleted by the user. For some reason this user was added as a JIRA administrator and he got the privelge to delete the issue. For security purpose we have restricted the delete issue permission to administrators only.

Where are you seeing this and what is the full error message?

It's most likely that you do not have the permissions to see the issue. But that begs the question of how you know that the issue has been created and not deleted, if you can't see it?
