Issue in Closed Status should not be editable and should not be reopened

Manju Nambiar May 29, 2012

Hi,

For any Issue in Closed Status to be marked as not editable and cannot be reopened, is this a privilege setting?

Thanks,

Manju

The workflow property Jobin mentions will solve the "cannot be edited". It's standard in the Jira default workflow, so have a look there if you're not sure.

The ability to reopen is up to your workflow as well - you can add/remove the transitions out of "closed" or apply conditions to them to prevent/allow users using them.
