Issue marked as "Required" in the field Configuration not shown as "Mandatory" in the Create Flow sc

Hi,

Created a custom field and marked it as Required in all the screens associated with this field.

For the custom field, created values as "New", "Latent", "Regression" making New as the default value.

Now, the question: Why is this custom field not showing up as Mandatory field (with *)  in the Create Issue form?

  • Checked the Field Configuration
  • Checked the Context for this issue
  • Checked the screens where this field  is added
  • Checked the project associated with the scheme.

Still not able to figure out the cause?

If the fields is appearing ok, but has no "mandatory" * when creating the issue, then it's the Field Configuration.

You need to re-do your checks, you're going to find that the project is using a field configuration scheme that tells it to use a field configuration for that issue type that is set to have that field optional.
