a problem within JIRA 5.2 and its issue navigator - the Hide/Show Left Section ' ' (left square bracket) does not work at all. In my older version (i think it was 5.1.8) was a small arrow to hide/show the left section. Where it has gone? Do you have some workaround for it. I am using FF browser and the JIRA is installed on our server (not onDemand)
i'm trying to figure out what you mean with "Hide/Show Left Section"
do you mean this left area wich holds your filters etc?
Yes, exactly. To make it clear, it is div.content-related html element. The term "Hide/Show Left Section" is taken from "keyboard shortcut" menu

It has been removed and without documenting it in the release notes. You will need to make an issue at http://jira.atlassian.com to request to ask for it back.

Thanks Norman. I've created one issue https://support.atlassian.com/browse/JSP-143950 already, but @ the JIRA support. Is it possible to link them? (My concern is the linkage between jira.atlassian.com and support.atlassian.com)

My general experience has been the support tickets kept private, so it not worth linking. The one under jira.atlassian.com are open for user requests. I suspect they will not treat this as a bug but as an improvement.
