Hey community.
I have some projects that can be seen by certain people only. I've created roles sponsor, PM, team, contributors and viewers. In that project I intentionally do not have contributors and viewers. However, there are two issues only that the team wants shared with someone not in any of the roles.
If I add that person to the team, he;ll be able to see everything, so I thought of setting an issue security level for that person, without adding him to any project role. I updated the two issues in question, but it did not solve the problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Pavel
Pavel,
Security levels are additional security on top of the "browse projects" permission. Rather than setting the security level for just the two, you'd need to do the following:
1) Set security levels for all ticket BUT those two so that only the current team can see them.
2) Add the user to the browse project permission without setting a security level on the two you want them to see.
You'd want to default new tickets in that project to have the increased security.
Hello,
You should create a new security level and set roles, groups and users so. that the required users see issues.
