Issue type 1

I'm currently transitioning a project to a new scheme.  The project is already in progress and has issue types that are not available in the new scheme.  When the mapping begins it's asking for an issue type number, i.e., '1'.  How can I discover the number of the issue type in the new scheme?

If you go to the list of issue types and hover the cursor over the type text will appear at the bottom of the screen that ends with the number. This technique works for other things too.
