Issue with Org ID custom field in JIRA

When doing JIRA queries using the Org ID field, only the sytax "org id" ~ "xxxxxx" will work. The Org ID field cannot be used with =, !=, or in ().

This is a problem because the ~ operator often displays *similar* org ids as well as the ones you are looking for.

Org ID seems to be the only field that behaves this way, but I have not attempted queries with all possible fields.
