Issues lost in JIRA

3 out of the 4 nodes in our JIRA setup showing 5 million plus issues, while 1 of them show around 5000 issues. Users are complaining they do not see their issues, however when they try to access them separately, they can. What can be the resolution here?

This is definitely re-indexing issue. Perform Background re-indexing. This should fix the issues missing.

This looks like an indexing problem on this particular node. Please try reindexing it, it should fix the issue.

Hi Debraj,

Please ensure that the search you are running should return the issues you mentioned.
If the users can see the issue but they can't find them, a re-index on the instance may help. Also, you can do a re-index on the project.
