Issues not counting in Epic's view in Backlog

Guilherme Bombonato Vaz de Mello September 20, 2021

Hi There,

Epic's view in Backlog, sometimes, the Issues inside an Epic does not count for the "Issues" and "Completed" vision as shown below:

Exemple 1:

1 issue Completed in "Epic's view in Backlog"

2 issues Completed in "Epic's details"

Exemple 2:

0 issues Completed in "Epic's view in Backlog"

2 issues Completed in "Epic's details"

Hi @Guilherme Bombonato Vaz de Mello

My understanding is:

  • The issues associated to an epic display in the issue view list as its child issues, and
  • The issues associated to an epic in the epic panel view are its child issues as limited by the board's filter.

Please review your board's filter to see if those "closed" issues are excluded from the filter.

Kind regards,
Bill
