Issues slated to a sprint show up in backlog, when I move them to the Sprint then don't show up

Certain issues assigned to Sprint are not showing up on the scrum board. But they do appear in the backlog. The sprint designation is correct on the issue. This is on Jira server. (Not cloud).

Hey Allison,

Are these separate boards?

If so you may be excluding the issue on your scrum board through the filter.
