Issues with Import Wizard via CSV

Is anyone else having issues with the Import Wizard via CSV? I keep getting to the value mapping page, I click "Begin Import" and it returns back to the Value Mapping screen, over and over.

Thanks to you both!

 

We discovered that the issue went away when we reduced the number of records (from about 900 to 600 or so). I never got an error message, so it is still a bit of a mystery...

Hello Christy,

I hope you are having a nice day.

Could you please confirm if you are using JIRA Server or Cloud? If you are using JIRA Server, can you provide us the version?

I understand that when you try to begin import, the import client is taking you back to the field map screen without any errors displayed. Is that correct?

You are trying to import using the issue navigator screen or the External System import? Check if the same problem happens if you import the file using the option on JIRA Settings > System > External System import.

If the steps above don't work, please provide us the format of the CSV file that you are trying to import so we can further troubleshoot it.

Hi Christy,

Just for us to better understand and help you with this issue, can you please open the developer tools on your browser to check if some error appears?
Does it show any error in the UI?
Have you tested import another CSV with fewer fields?
