I was doing some research on changing card colors on the sprint board. Looks like there are a few ways including queries. It is summarized here ://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver073/customizing-cards-861254439.html. 

I run few queries; however, the card have not changed to red yet.

Please advice,

It will be better to test the JQLs (queries) first on issue search screen.

If the JQL is not correct, the coloring will not work.
