JIRA 5.1.8 comments not showing person's full name when you try to add them with the social media way (@)

Hello wonderful JIRA users,

With the help of the upgraded database values plugin,we just upgraded to JIRA 5.1.8. For some reason when we add users into comments with the social media way (@) the person's full name isn't showing up and only their Active Directory i.d. is. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? We'd love to know how. Thanks!

Do you mean, does it happen after the comment is posted?

Also, could you make sure that your comments are rendered using Wiki Markup Renderer (you can switch it on in Fields Configuration admin screen for your field configuration).

Ah, it was the renderers. They defaulted on the upgrade. This was precisely the problem. Gold star to Wojciech! You da man!
