JIRA 6.1 - notifications not being sent on Resolved or Closed

I want to notify members of a team when issues are Created, Resolved and Closed. The Created notification works great, but the other two notifications don't get sent. Is this a configuration issue?

Check the Resolved and Closed transition if it's firing up the correct "Event" and if that Event is configured to send specific notifications (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Creating+a+Notification+Scheme).

Hi Gabrielle - Thanks! This pointed me in the right direction. Turns out the transitions to Closed were firing Generic Events instead of Issue Closed.
