JIRA 7.3 IE11 compatibility mode

hi,

we upgraded our JIRA version in our testing environment to JIRA 7.3.

Im not able to open in IE 11 and the online help says it supports E11 but it says compatibility view is not supported. 

what is the compatibility mode nad is there a workaround ?

Hi Shilpini,

There can be several reasons why compatibility mode gets enabled for a website. For example: your IT administrator might have configured all website with a particular domain (for example, your company's domain) to automatically enable Compatibility View.

Here's an article on HowToGeek where they explain you how to disable Compatibility mode entirely or for a certain website.

With Compatibility mode, IE11 should be compatible with older websites. Compatibility mode is ususally not activated.
