Hello All,

I have a scenario like below:

1. ABC(Summary) Epic already exists for one of the TEST project.

2. Using CSV to create Stories which is also creating link with Epic for same TEST Project.

Epic Name(Summary) - ABC(another one) , DEF

Story - Story 1(link to epic ABC) and Story 2(link to epic DEF)

3. After importing, I could see that 4 issues(2 stories and 2 epics) are created, but Story 1 is not linked to ABC as per CSV where as Story 2 is linked to DEF.

This is happening because we already have a story ABC as Summary, and DEF is not existing.

Is there any solution to handle this scenario?

Hi @Harmeet Singh

Refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/cannot-import-epic-link-from-csv-due-to-incorrect-format-829030416.html

Are you adding the existing epic also to the csv file during import?
