JIRA CSV import

Hi,

I used JIRA External Import facility using CSV to import the project issues.

But this was allowed only to the JIRA administrators.

is there any way to allow other users to do the same ???

Hello Nayan,

Currently every importer (including CSV one) is only available for administrators and there is no way to change it. But we are aware that CSV Importer (Bulk Create) would be a great feature for non-admin users. Currently we are working on such solution and we are close to finish. It should be available at the end of May at the latest.

If you have Confluence, then How to allow users to import JIRA issues from Excel or CSV. Otherwise, you can use JIRA Command Line Interface directly using runFromCsv.
