JIRA Can't edit "Software Project" permissions scheme

I have about one week searching how to enable "close" and "delete" issues in my projects, without results.

I can't add a Permission scheme to my project.

I'm following this steps (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-project-permissions-776636362.html):

  1. Choose the Jira icon (, or ) > Projects.
  2. Select the project of interest to open the Project Summary administration page for that project. See Configuring projects for more information.
  3. On the lower right, in the Permissions section, click the name of the current scheme (e.g. 'Default Permission Scheme') to display the details of the project's current permission scheme.
  4. Click the 'Actions' dropdown menu and choose 'Use a different scheme'.
  5. On the 'Associate Permission Scheme to Project' page, which lists all available permission schemes, select the permission scheme you want to associate with the project.
  6. Click the 'Associate' button to associate the project with the permission scheme.

But I can't see "Project Summary" option, I'm redirected directy to the board.

I attach some images abou my screen:

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Push the Settings button in your second screenshot, then choose Permissions.

Hi @Alexey Matveev, I only have "Delete project" option in project settings.

I think it is an independent project. It has limited settings. That is why your pic is different.

I created a new Scrum project and it has all the settings available. I think it was a new board bug.

Thanks.

Hi Andres,

Were you able to resolve this?

I am having the same issue.

Hi,

I'm having the same issues. I was able to change the permission scheme under a Business Project type but its not allowing me to do it on a Software Project Type.

Could you share a screenshot of your project settings?

Hi @Alexey Matveev those are the only options I have.

It is not a Software project type. It is a next-gen project. And it has limited features.

Hi @Andrés Julián Aristizábal Martínez,

First, confirm that you should have project administrator rights for this.

Admin -->Projects --> project settings --> Summary.
