JIRA Cloud: How to edit a time log?

Hi !

I'm trying the time tracking feature of JIRA Cloud, and it seems quite unintuitive and complicated...

Can you help me?

- On a "New generation Kanban project", I cannot use Time tracking, correct? There is some kind of Story point estimate I can use, but I am not able to add any time log, or I don't know how to do it :(
There is no permission configuration as there is in "Basic software" project

- On a "Basic software" project, I can add time logs, but I am unable to edit any previous time log. There is a thread on this here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Reduce-work-log-time/qaq-p/376053 but the UI has probably changed a lot since this thread, I cannot see any button to edit the time logs (I have checked I have the correct permission in the project configuration)

After some additional research, I finally manage to edit my time entry: there is a view "Time tracking" in the Activity panel of a task, but this view is not displayed in the new display of issues.

You must disable the new display to be able to see the Time tracking view. The new display of issues seems unfinished, currently.
