Hello,
I am working on Creating/updating JIRA issues through email.
I have setup incoming mail but i am not able to do outgoing mail setup as there is no button for configuration.
I understand from blog, as this is cloud by default this will be done. But i am confused how to configure the automatic creation of JIRA issues through mail.
Thanks,
Shruthi
HI @shruthi sj
If you want to configure to create an issue via email then you need to configure the incoming mail handler for this.
There is nothing to do with outgoing mail for creating issue via mail.
Here is the detail documentation about that.
Hello @Yogesh Mude,
I have configured incoming mail, but when I send an email to particular mail id, it doesn't generate JIRA ticket.
Thanks,
Shruthi
