Hello,
Is someone able to confirm whether adding JIRA Cloud to a Teams (chat or channel) do the people on the Teams (chat or channel) have to have JIRA licences to be able to view tasks and projects?
They are likely to have the type of licence which enables them log a service request ticket.
Thanks
Amelia :)
Hi @Amelia Gammon ,

Yes, they need to be licensed users in order to view items via Teams app.
They are likely to have the type of licence which enables them log a service request ticket.
As for this > this depends if we are talking about Jira or Jira Service Management. If they, for example, can only raise tickets via portal, then they won't be able to see items. This integrations would work only for Jira users or JSM agents.
Cheers,
Tobi
Thanks Tobi,
That makes sense, I will review what type of licences they have and go from there. I have a feeling its just via the portal though so I'm not sure the JIRA cloud would solve a problem.
Appreciate you coming back to me
Amelia
