JIRA - Confluence - Approval option

Dear Community ,

One of our customer wants the JIRA workflow to transition to the next state/stage only when a document is verified and approved in Confluence.

Is there a way to achieve this? If so, could you please provide the relevant article or approach from the Atlassian support site?
