JIRA Custom fields in Dell Boomi

Deleted user July 15, 2019

Hi,

We are Integrating the Jira with Salesforce using Boomi tool.  Right now, I am able to see only the Native JIRA fields and No custom fields in the Boomi in any Object.  Is there any permissions or setup required to see the custom fields in Boomi?

Any Suggestions will be helpful. Thanks in Advance.

Thanks,

Nagendra M

Hi Nagendra,

I'm just about to look at the Boomi Jira integration - we also have custom fields - can you tell me what you found and did you fix the issue?

Many thanks,

Jason

Hi @Jason Marley :

You must use the Admin account in Boomi to get all the fields and please use the HTTP Connector rather than JIRA Rest API Connector.

You will see all the custom fields as "customfield_10504" like this in both connectors. You will find the custom filed id's in the JIRA system in the edit mode of that custom field in the URL. you should keep the field id's as it is in Boomi.

Reason for HTTP Connector: JIRA implemented the GDPR changes for requestor/ users. These changes are not implemented in the JIRA Rest API connector and JIRA Rest API connect has issues with the Data. It's not compatible with huge data.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

No, if something can see the issue, it can see all of it.  This suggests that Boomi is not yet able to cope with Jira custom fields.
