JIRA Data Center Multi-Data Center setup

Hello,

Does anyone know if  JIRA data center supports an active-active setup  with different data centers?  I have seen all the high availability documentation  but nothing  on active-active  MDC  other than having it as a stand by system.

Not that I am aware of. You could try one of the Jira sync plugins for low traffic volumes. But I don't know of a way to have one master for read/write and multiple proxies for read

At the moment, Data Centre can only be installed in one location (all nodes in same physical data centre).  Atlassian are looking into geographically separate nodes, but don't yet support or recommend it.
