JIRA Log Analyzer does not show all errors

Jira PLCP Team April 23, 2018

Hi,

We expect that "Log Analyzer" available in Jira under support tools will show all errors present in log file but this is not the case. It does not show all "Errors" present in the log file.

Therefore, we have to manually search the log file again and again.

I want to know why is that so and what is the criteria for Log Analyzer to show log errors? How can we configure Log Analyzer to show all errors in logs?

Regards,

Zeeshan

Dear @Jira PLCP Team,

the Log Analyzer will only list up errors/warnings where an entry at Atlassian's Log database could be found. So either it is an unknown (new or undocumented) error thrown by Jira or its an exception fired by a 3rd party plugin. I doubt that Atlassian stores information of those plugins in their DB.

So long

Thomas
