JIRA Pie chart gadget - by Epic Link?

The JIRA Pie chart gadget allows you to select Epic/Theme; however, Epic/Theme is only used on classic boards. Is there a way to select Epic Link?

I figured out the problem. The Epic/Theme is actually a field of type Labels. If we add the field to screens and provide some value, we will get the gadget working.

I suggest readd the gadget instead of refreshing the actual.

I was wondering this too. Epic/Theme now only shows 'Irrelevant' in this chart while I expected to see the Epic name.
