JIRA Plan doesn’t display issues with Teams

Mahesh Swaminathan January 19, 2024

I have a JIRA cloud plan across 4 scrum boards (4 projects).

All 4 views (basic , sprint capacity plan etc) work fine as do the filters.

The issue i have is this:

When i choose an assignee A it correctly displays that person’s issues. However when i create (or use existing teams) a team (plan or org) with that person A and select that team in filter, it displays no issues.

Can I get an idea of what needs to change?

Thanks

Hi @Mahesh Swaminathan ,

I am not entirely sure if I understand the issue correctly, but can you ensure that the team is actually filled out on all issues? Any filter in Jira - and in your plan - selects a set of issues that match the given criteria. If your filter on team does not return issues, I would expect that the team is simply not explicitly on those issues.

Hope this helps!

Ah! My bad. So Team isn't just a set of users. And it can't just be used as a set in a filter but it's also a field that needs to be set in individual issues.

Gotcha. Thanks
