JIRA Pricing Query.

It has been clearly mentioned one Time Payment for self Managed is USD 10.

Even though few members stating it is per month cost as 10 USD.

Can anyone clarify the same.

If you buy license for Jira Server (which will need to be managed by you on your servers), the pricing is perpetual with one month support included:

The Server licenses entitle you to perpetual use, and include 12 months maintenance (updates/support) starting from the date of purchase. Renewing maintenance is entirely optional and you can continue using Jira even if the support/ maintenance expires (you wont be able to upgrade to newer versions of Jira in absence of active support/ maintenance).

If you buy license for Jira Cloud (installation, hosting managed by Atlassian), the pricing is monthly.

And if you buy a license for Jira Data Center (best for large installations with large number of users, projects and issues), the pricing is annual: Data Center is offered on an annual term license that includes updates and support as long as your term license is active. Data Center licenses expire and are not perpetual like server licenses.

Only for Cloud version, monthly and annual subscriptions are there. For server , it is annual pricing

NOTE : Jira server initial purchase is perpetual use of the software and includes 12 months of software maintenance.

It has mentioned One time Payment.

Does it means I can use it without any restriction until if i required to upgrade?

Also self managed Server concept also refers annual subscription only?

One time payment means ,  if you buy once you can use it forever without paying anything. This one time payment includes 12 months maintenace and support. You can upgrade to any version released with in this 12 months.

After 12 months, it is your choice to renew or not. If you renew, you will get support and you can upgrade to any latest version which is released with in your support period.

For datacenter, it is annual pricing. You have to pay every year.
