Hello Team,
Can we have the sum of remaining for all tasks and sub-tasks for a US in the field SUM of Remaining ?
We noticed that the field Sum of remaining in the reports does not show any value....
Thank you
The remaining estimate in your report is the "remaining estimate" for the current issue. You should adjust your report to use the "Σ remaining estimate" field.
Hi Nic,
Σ remaining estimate" field does not show the sum in our plan.....
for example if a
US 1 = 3 md
with 3 subatasks with 1md each
=> Σ remaining estimate does not show any value !
is that normal ? or it's a BUG in JIRA ?

OK, two things we need to check before we can go further.
1. Are you using the time tracking fields, or are your estimates done on something else? Could you run a simple test - run a search that returns (at least) one user story and its sub-tasks. In the issue navigator, add the columns "Remaining Estimate" and "Σ remaining estimate". Does the Σ one show the sum correctly?
2. What is the report you are using?

Hello Nic,
I think it's an issue on our platform in Production...Σ remaining estimate works well on the staging as shown by these 2 screenshots.
to answer your question yes, we are using time tracking

Hmm, ok, so it works in staging, but not production. That definitely needs to be something fixed on production, but I can't think of a way to hide the field like that.
