JIRA Software is licensed but not currently installed.

I downloaded and installed package atlassian-jira-software-7.13.0.tar.tar 

After starting the jira server and doing initial setup. Application menu has warning

JIRA Software is licensed but not currently installed.

Installed obr from jira web interface solved my problem.

Hi @Janno V

That is odd. It is possible that something went on when JIRA was starting up and the modules for the JIRA Software application did not start.

Can you go to {{Admin > Applications > Versions and Licenses}} page to check if the JIRA software is shown as running?

If not, try and install it from that UI to see if it gets installed.

You would however need to look through your logs that are found at {{JIRA HOME/log/atlassian-jira.log}} and {{JIRA Installation/logs/catalina.out}} to see what happened while you were starting the server.

This makes it easier to know what actually went wrong.
