Hi Expert,
We are using Jira version 6.3.6a and today we have experienced Jira Startup failed issues in this version 6.3.6a and we are unable to start this .
Could you please check this issue and let us know the solution.We are waiting for your reply.your support is greatly appreciated

You've set the permissions incorrectly, or deleted or moved the cache directory, so Tomcat can't use the directory.

The usual culprit is that you've started the system as the wrong user, which writes to files in its own name, so that when you start it with another user, they can't read/write/delete the files.  Check who is running it, and who is supposed to be running it, and then make sure the files and directories are wholly owned by, and RWED enabled for that user.
