Hi Jira Community, 

We would like to update the statut of an issue with gitlab. 

i.e. : with we merge a branch into develop, the statut of the issue goes from "code review" to "PO validation".

If I understand correctly, you are searching for a way to integrate Jira with Gitlab and transition a Jira issue on a commit or on a merge request.

If that's the case, then please follow the steps in the below documentation page from Gitlab:
