Hello
Our company is using several JIRA sites. One is our internal and then users have access to external JIRA sites from suppliers. Question is - It´s possible to make page/dashboard where user will see all his/her project across the sites at one place?
Thank you
Hi @Petr Gold , thanks for the question.
This is Umer from K15t, PMM for the Backbone Issue Sync for Jira app. Thanks, @Ste Wright for mentioning Backbone.
If you want to create a central "dashboard" of projects in one place, an app such as Watchtower can help you integrate issues from multiple Jiras into a single Kanban board. But with that, the users might be limited to just viewing the issues and will have to switch from Jira project to project to actually update the issues.
If you want the ability to stay in your own project while updating Jira issues and tickets in real-time across multiple Jira instances, an Issue Sync app such as Backbone would be perfect.
Once you have installed Backbone on your own and your partner/client's Jira instance, you can sync all kinds of Jira issues and associated Jira data in real-time and thus simplify collaboration between you and your suppliers.
Check out our landing page for more info on the capabilities of Backbone, or schedule a free demo with us so we can show you around the app and answer your questions.
Hi @Petr Gold
Not natively - all those Jira instances are separate, so there's no search function across all of them
You'll need to either:
You could use an Issue Sync App to do (2), for example...
...or look for another option on the Marketplace

Hello @Petr Gold
I will be happy to hear what you eventually did.
Also -
How did you explain it to the client? to reduce the resistance, if any? I mean - they might be afraid of data security matters? How can I calm the client from this perspective?
Thanks ahead

@Petr Gold , indeed, you'll need an additional tool. If you're open to the idea of a 3rd party solution, check out ZigiOps. It's a no-code solution that can connect bi-directionally and sync your Jira instances. It offers advanced customization so you can tailor it in a way that suits your needs and use case (the user will see all their projects across the sites in one place). Take a look at ZigiOps and if you want to see it in action, do not hesitate to book a demo. It's free and not binding in any way.
Regards, Diana
