I have installed Jira as a windows service. However, it seems determined to use the memore values from service.bat.

I have tried defining Xms and Xmx as system environment variables, and I have also tried adding them as additional arguments in the Service properties dialog.

Nevetheless, they continue to be 384 and 2048.

What am I missing? There are values I need to pass in using -D as well.

Hi @Robert Egan

You check the options for windows service setting here

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/setting-properties-and-options-on-startup-938847831.html

Also look in your setenv.bat for

set JVM_MINIMUM_MEMORY
set JVM_MAXIMUM_MEMORY
